Last week, Conan O’Brien debuted his episode “Made in Mexico” – premiering his trip to repair relations with the southern neighbor. He asked locals if they’d like to pay for the wall (in exchange for their name on a brick!), crashed someone’s quinceañera, and gave a full monologue in Spanish among other things.
While Conan often makes it his duty as a late night comedian to have fun, this new take brings in a welcome conversation regarding immigration policy.
Perhaps we can all take a piece from Conan’s new theme and celebrate the diversity that this country offers.
